Lights...

Just some stuff I saw..

Times..

Went out with an old buddy of mine. Shes still an ass but I am worse.. Known her for eight years and alot of things have changed. We've changed a little I suppose or at least thats what I think... No matter. Shes still a very close friend after all these years and thats what matters most. Treasure your friends and always remember, "Quality over quantity"

Caravan..

This is one of those songs that I want to listen whenever I am travelling in a vehicle. Every other sound just shuts out and music flows..

The song is called Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath.

School getting more fun !

There wasnt any class today but yesterday's lesson was quite intresting! I think it was luck in disguise that I woke up late because by then, my lecturer would have already released today's lesson online and I was able to check what the students in class were doing.  The lesson today was Sculpture!

So I got the materials and headed of to school. Moulded my creation and called it,
"Why hast thou forsaken me"  It didnt really come out as I thought it would. Working with Plasticine is a bitch. It gives off this wierd texture on your hands and its pretty hard to shape fine details. It could also be because the only tools I had were my hands.  Basically I would have prefered working with clay. Despite that setback, it was fun creating my artwork. I really hope our  "Art Expression and Form" lessons would get even better!

Tiring experience..

Have you seen TCS or Channel News Asia mini vans? Ever wondered what they're for? Well today I learned that these equipment vans are used for a very good reason. To transport both the crew and the god damn HEAVY equipments to and fro from the shooting location, back to the station. Its not that I didnt know that before already. Its just that, today, its become much more clear how a vehicle, can be of great use. Its not hard to imagine someone travelling from the heartlands of Ang Mo Kio to Buangkok Drive(tiny rural kampung area) by feet and bus. Add lighting equipments that weigh nearly 30-50kg in total and you have an epic test of stamina, strength and devotion to your project. Thats just the lights! Cameras, boom mics and other misc stuff are not included. Thank god for me, all these stuff were spread around the other group members. Well, we just ended the first day of our shooting.. And... its only the beginning of the week. We've got 4 more days to go..

T_T I WANT A CAR PLIX.

Okay I just finished finding the proper documents and release forms required for our filming project.. I didnt know we needed any of this shit but that just proves how amatuerish I am on the topic of film production. I'm there for the experience anyway and i really am learning new stuff!
